About the first floor
A planned two-bedroom apartment on the first floor of Blake House, on the corner of Bath Street and Buxton Road in the centre of Bakewell. The sitting room sits in the angled corner with a window over Bath Street, and the river, shops and Monday market are a couple of minutes' walk away.
Once restored, the apartment will keep the character of the stone building, with a new dining kitchen, a shower room and beds made up with good linen. It suits a family, or two couples, with the Monsal Trail, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall a short drive away. Room sizes are approximate and will be confirmed when the work is finished.

Bakewell
In the middle of the Peak's market town.
Bath Street turns off Buxton Road seventy metres from Rutland Square, the middle of Bakewell. The Monday market, which the town has held for more than seven hundred years, the river, the pudding shops, the pubs and the Monsal Trail are all within walking distance. Pay-and-display car parks are a short walk away, and there is limited parking at the building by arrangement.
